What a beautiful series, and this young ...Hi Helma! What a beautiful series, and this young female is sensational! Pictures associating flowers and dragonflies are always interesting! It's the summer which returns to us with her! On the other hand, I am not sure at all that it involve Southern Sympetrum: the vulvar blade is too striking (first image), the black line along the eye goes down far too much (third image), the black marks of the thorax are too important, and the yellow parts of legs are too fine... In my opinion, and errors excepted, it would be rather S. vulgatum, a young female, that for me would be a beautiful capture, because rather rare in my region!
