The Demoiselle I photographed in July 2014 alongside a stream in the Kuinderbos. Beautiful men and women flew there in the round. Because of the many wind that was there, it was difficult to photograph.

  1. Hi Helma! Very beautiful series, in spite of the wind which did not prevent to you from making a success of these pictures! Magnificent backgrounds, and the 4th is particularly excellent, with on the same image the sexual posture of the male, and a spider in ambush! On the other hand, the terms "man" and "woman" are reserved for the human race! For our dragonflies, we shall say "male" and "female"! ;-) Greetings, M.

    1. The soft backgrounds come through the bright green water in the background. There were also many large light green plants.
