Sympetrum

Another small contribution of mine Vagrant Darter (Sympetrum vulgatum). These pictures are from last year's August 10 and taken in the splendid dunes (AWD). The sun was very bright that day so it was looking for the best light.

I find it kind of hard to identify because he is very similar to the Sympetrum striolatum. Maybe I have it wrong with the determination.

Noordse Witsnuitlibel - Leucorrhinia rubicunda

These photos of Ruby Whiteface (Leucorrhinia rubicunda) are from last May 27. There were at that time pretty much, but they only skimmed over the water and came occasionally in the shore side down. I was still puzzling with the macro lens. Since I was in the shore side again on my belly "brindle" dragonflies seem all a bit blurry on the body. However, this is because they sat down in the shore side and I could not help but just keep my camera for me and ensure that I do not slid into the water hahahaha .........

Ischnura elegans and Coenagrion puella.....

This Ischnura elegans and Coenagrion puella I took in May and July near my house in a small nature reserve (The Weelen) gefotografeerd. Ischnura elegans in May and Coenagrion puella in July. I'm all set with the 105 F2.8 DG Macro lens Sigma. Both I could capture in a mating wheel.

The nature reserve "The Weelen" is not on the map of the Netherlands. I've omitted in error because most dragonflies that I photograph in the other areas that I do have indicated.

This Meadow brook damselfly I photographed last June 15 in Kuiderbos (KB). The wind was huge that day but I could make some nice pictures of both the man and the woman.
