brook damselfly (Calopterygidae)
This Meadow brook damselfly I photographed last June 15 in Kuiderbos (KB). The wind was huge that day but I could make some nice pictures of both the man and the woman.

It's always a pleasure to see this species, male or female ! And the green of the leaves is very nice ! Greetings, M.
RépondreSupprimerHello Morikan,
SupprimerI find this brook damsels also one of the most beautiful and graceful damsels we have. Both the male and the female :-) I'm glad you like them on the green leaves.
Greetings, Helma

Fantastic and sharp shots, Helma!
RépondreSupprimerThis is a brilliant series of the one species of Calopteryx I don't find here in the South-west of France!
In English you use the terms "male" and "female" instead of man and woman, although I know this how you say in your own language!
Well done... looking forward to see more of your pics!
Hello Noushka,
Supprimerthank you for your lovely comment. Sorry for the mistake of male and female. I will be a voglende time to think and then just use the term "man" and "woman" :-)
I find this really beautiful Meadow Brook damsels of color and also very graceful :-)
Greetings, Helma

RépondreSupprimerHi Tammy,
SupprimerI myself was very surprised by the beautiful color of this meadow brook damsels. The wind blew it away, but still these pictures are of it left. Thank you for your enthusiastic response :-)
